AFT Welcomes Three New Team Members

Applied Flow Technology (AFT) has expanded their team with the hire of two new engineers and one software developer to join their pipe flow modeling team.

Despars graduated from Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Flagstaff, Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and minors in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Music. David has obtained his Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification with the State of Colorado and currently attends the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs to earn his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. As applications engineer, he will test and document software, maintain training programs, and help users troubleshoot their flow analysis models.

Young is a graduate of Iowa State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in computer science. As an Applications Engineer he will test and document software, maintain training programs, and help users troubleshoot their flow analysis models.

Gerber graduated with a Bachelor of Innovation in Computer Security from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS). Harrison previously created software support for hardware emulation of a micro-Linux board called the Motorola Coldfire uC5282 and researched quantum computing and cryptology. In his software development role, he will contribute to the development of future AFT software products and maintain current releases.
