ABB Showcases Motor Solutions at EASA 2022

Visit the ABB Booth #603 at the 2022 EASA Convention in St. Louis, June 26-28 to meet experts, view innovative solutions, and to learn why selecting the right motor is important. Highlights at this year’s booth include:

Baldor-Reliance motors

More than 90% of Baldor-Reliance 3-phase inverter duty motors meet the Buy American Act and are ready no matter customers’ power needs. Learn how ABB works with customers to select the correct motor for the intended application by leveraging the unique advantages of fitting variable frequency drives (VFDs) with Baldor-Reliance motors to optimally reduce power consumption, minimize equipment failure, and maximize energy savings. Discover the versatile application of this innovative technology such as variable torque, constant torque, and constant power by exploring an interactive display featuring the recently launched Critical Cooling motor which comes with a lifetime bearing warranty.

ABB motors

ABB will introduce the new ECP5000 motor for severe duty applications. Designed with an oversized conduit box, connections are easy through use of a terminal box. These motors are designed and engineered in the US and come standard with all the protective features needed to handle harsh outdoor environments and meet the demands of the North American market. The NXR US is built with a power dense, locally available package making it ideally suited for applications requiring higher horsepower.

Digitalization

ABB has developed tailored digital solutions to help in all industries protect and optimize assets. Built-in ABB Ability smart sensors provide rapid response, lifecycle management, operational efficiency, and performance improvement, which work in concert to minimize downtime, extend equipment life, and optimize process performance.
