Stock Drive Releases Interactive CD-ROM

A new interactive CD-ROM from Stock Drive Products/Sterling Instrument (SDP/SI) features over 130,000 products plus eStore access. The products are detailed in PDF versions of the SDP/SI 1,520-page Master Inch Catalog, D810, and the 1,264-page Master Metric Catalog, D805. Both Master catalogs are designed to make finding automation components fast and easy. eStore access enables visitors to order parts, request quotes, download 3-D drawings, and check inventory at any time.

The included coupling selection video simplifies the process of selecting the proper coupling for your application by showing different coupling options offered and some of their features.  Another video highlights the benefits of choosing Fairloc integral fastening system for the hubs of gears, pulleys, and other components.

Specially featured is the link to a newly redesigned center distance designer program, which makes it easier to design a timing belt and pulley drive system. It easily finds the timing pulley ratio, the center distance between two pulleys, and the most suitable belts based on the given parameters.
