Nord Introduces Drive Technologies at Bauma 2025
At Bauma 2025, Nord Drivesystems will be presenting powerful and energy-efficient drive solutions for demanding industrial applications. The exhibition highlights presented by the drive specialist from Bargteheide include Maxxdrive industrial gear units as well as the versatile Nordac Pro SK 500P frequency inverter. With its comprehensive modular products and global presence, Nord is a partner for companies from the construction machinery and heavy-duty industry.
The new Maxxdrive XJ and Maxxdrive XD industrial gear units are specifically suitable for crane applications. With their robust Unicase housing, extended center distances and modular extensions, they provide industries in demanding working environments with maximum performance and a long service life. The Maxxdrive XD industrial gear unit is particularly suitable for lifting gear. With its elongated arrangement of the gear stages, it enables the U-shaped drive design with rope drum and motor on the same gear unit side. The Maxxdrive XJ industrial gear unit particularly serves die requirements of running gears and crushers. Its J-shaped shaft arrangement allows for another variant of the input shaft position for confined installation spaces.
With its Maxxdrive XT industrial gear units, Nord offers an optimum drive solution for bulk material plants. The gear units are characterized by high thermal limit powers and low ratios. They have been specifically developed for use in belt conveyor systems and ensure high operational reliability and less maintenance times. Its book-size format is a compact design, which requires little space in the control cabinet.
