IDC-USA Partners with IDI

IDC-USA has just signed an agreement with IDI Independent Distributors Inc. granting them the exclusive rights to market and sell IDC Select branded products in Canada. Independent Distributors Cooperative-USA (IDC-USA) is a national purchasing, marketing and selling cooperative representing over 260 independent industrial distributors in the United States. IDI Independent Distributors, Inc. (IDI) is a Canadian purchasing cooperative of independent industrial distributors who specialize in bearings, power transmission products, fluid power products, as well as industrial, janitorial and safety supplies. Both cooperatives have one common goal: to use the combined purchasing power of their distributors to better serve their customers and compete against large national chains in order to retain distributors' independence in a rapidly changing and dynamic marketplace. IDC-USA is assisting IDI with this initiative by allowing them to be the only company authorized to sell IDC Select brand products in the Canadian market. "We are thrilled to be able to extend the exclusive rights to our IDC Select brand to our sister cooperative in Canada. With IDC Select, we are helping IDI expand the breadth of the product offering available to their power transmission distributors," said Jack Bailey, president and CEO of IDC-USA.
