Ametek, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Bison Gear & Engineering Corp. (Bison), a leading manufacturer of highly engineered motion control solutions serving diverse markets and applications.

Since the early 1980s, Nord Drivesystems has produced its own electronics at their Aurich facility in northwest Lower Saxony, Germany.
