WEG was one of the main highlights in the 3rd edition of the Inovativos Award and the Innovation Forum, standing out in the categories of Industrial Intelligence and Sales Excellence, held during the Forum on Digital Innovation Cases in São Paulo.

WEG supplied medium voltage synchronous motors to CEDAE at the Lameirão Pumping Station in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. These motors will play a crucial role by pumping water to a significant part of the city, ensuring reliability and continuity for the state’s population.

WEG recently announced, through its indirect subsidiaries abroad, the acquisition of the industrial electric motors and generators business of Regal Rexnord Corporation, a global manufacturer of electromechanical equipment. The acquisition value is $400.0 million, subject to common price adjustments for this type of transaction.
