St. Louis, MO. Explore gear failure analysis in this hands-on seminar where students not only see slides of failed gears but can hold and examine those same field samples close up. Attendees will also use a microscope to examine field samples. This course is taught at Ranken Technical College. A shuttle bus is available each day to transport students to and from the hotel. Class will be 8:00 am – 5:00 pm each day. Failure modes will be identified, root causes of failure, remedies to prevent repeat failures, and analysis techniques will be part of the course.
