Vancouver, British Columbia. The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) expo and conference offers buyers, planners, engineers, researchers and other technical experts focused on serving the needs of the mining industry. Exhibitors include a range of industry suppliers, consultants and equipment and service providers. A technical program is organized under eight thematic streams including Excellence in Operations, Standards of Excellence, Rock Mechanics, Geology & Exploration, Mining Footprint, Sustainable Organizations, Innovations and New Ideas and Management and Finance. Sessions vary between traditional presentations by subject experts to panel forums with leading personalities and key individuals to delve into the most relevant topics. All sessions will focus on a vision of excellence and best practices with ideas, opportunities, solutions and case studies showcasing ways to advance performance in all aspects of these general themes.
