Event Description
Frankfort, Illinois. Presented by the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) and hosted by Therafin Corporation, this regional event discusses why certain companies like Toyota and Apple are able to design products that consistently earn the highest customer satisfaction in the world. Their secret is they have a deeper understanding of what customers truly want (and how to meet those needs). This workshop teaches how to truly understand what customers want and how to present it in a format that product and process designers can use to design superior products. This workshop will apply the techniques to customers of Temple Grandin's Squeeze Machine, a deep pressure device designed to calm autism patients. Autism experts will be on hand to inform and provide input. Temple Grandin was a keynote speaker at the AME International "Excellence Inside" Conference held this past October in Dallas, Texas.
