Dr.-Ing. Thomas Rosenlöcher studied mechanical engineering at the Technische Universität Dresden until December 2004. During that time he worked for 6 months for the BMW Group in South Africa. Since January 2005 he was scientific assistant at the Chair of Machine Elements and obtained his doctoral degree in June 2012 with a thesis on the "Analysis of the Dynamic Drive Train Behavior of Multi-Megawatt-Drive-Trains using the Multibody-System- and Finite-Element-Method." Since 2014 Rosenlöcher has held the position of a chief engineer at the Chair of Machine Elements at the Technische Universität Dresden.
