Dr. Marco Kampka has over five years of research and development experience in gear and transmission technology at the WZL Laboratory at the Technical University of Aachen, one of the world’s leading institutes for transmission technology. His main focus is in gear manufacturing processes, design, simulation and testing. In 2017 he joined Fraunhofer CMI to lead the newly founded gear and transmission technology group. The group provides consulting services and undertakes research projects for the gear industry. It also provides short courses aimed at educating engineers about all facets of gear and transmission technologies. Dr. Kampka received his German diploma and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany.
