Nord Drivesystems announces that their DuoDrive integrated gear unit and motor has received UL/CSA certification. This unit combines a high-efficiency IE5+ synchronous motor and single-stage helical gear unit into one compact housing with a smooth, easy to clean surface. 

The Modex 2024 exhibition will be open March 11th – 14th at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Nord Drivesystems will be in attendance to showcase their latest innovations for intralogistics applications. Flexible drive solutions are required throughout the grain sector to power the different systems as well as transport the products from one processing stage to the next.

Nord Drivesystems is once again attending the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) to showcase their solutions for the poultry and meat processing industry. Nord’s modular product system includes compact gear units, high-efficiency electric motors, and precise, intelligent electronic controls with a variety of surface protection options. This year’s expo is taking place January 30 – February 1, 2024, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.

Nord Drivesystems will present its large range of innovative drives for mechanical engineering at FMB 2023, from November 8-10,2023 in the exhibition center in Bad Salzuflen. In Hall 20, stand D4, the presentation’s focus will be on the IE5+ synchronous motors and the decentralized Nordac On+ frequency inverters.

Nord supports companies in undertaking the use of high efficiency electric motors funded by a program of the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) and thus taking an important step towards energy efficiency and sustainability. Funding is available for both drives in new plants and conversions to more efficient systems, with up to 40 percent of the investment costs being covered.
