This week at Hannover Messe, Dana Incorporated is highlighting its broad range of next-generation motion systems offering superior performance, durability, and sustainability across the entire spectrum of industrial applications.
Located in Hall 6, Stand D48/1, Dana will feature its recently updated Brevini gearboxes and winches, as well as field-proven GWB industrial driveshafts.
Dana will also promote the company’s comprehensive engineering capabilities spanning multiple disciplines, including mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, electrical, mechatronics, and integrated systems.
“The industrial sector is rapidly reshaping to assimilate innovations in Industry 4.0, automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning—all with the ever-present drive toward decarbonization” said Jeroen Decleer, senior vice president, Off-Highway Drive and Motion Systems for Dana Incorporated. “We’re poised right now with a powerful combination of advanced technologies and consultative approach with customers that enables industrial enterprises to transform these initiatives into innovations that move our world sustainably.”
Heavy-Duty Gearboxes for Industrial Applications
At Hannover Messe, Dana is featuring its Brevini EvoMax helical and bevel-helical gearboxes, offering a high degree of modularity and flexibility with torque ratings ranging from 8,000 Nm to 310,000 Nm.
The Brevini EvoMax gearbox series has been highly engineered to optimize power delivery within a compact footprint. By achieving greater power output from a smaller package, it effectively reduces overall weight and streamlines the installation process.
The gearboxes offer best-in-class torque density and are engineered with optional low-temperature housing and special seals that support operations in extreme environments. They are supplied with a wide range of ratios and configurations for input and output shafts.
Brevini EvoMax gearboxes have been updated from Dana’s legacy helical and bevel-helical range by adding five new sizes and redesigning 14 versions to provide higher torque, greater efficiency, and longer service intervals. These modular gearboxes are designed to provide greater product flexibility, higher efficiency, and increased sustainability while helping to minimize total operating costs.
They are used across a broad range of industrial applications, including bulk material handling, steel and cement works, waste management and water treatment, port equipment, and offshore marine.
These gearboxes complement Dana’s full range of power transmission solutions, including industrial planetary gearboxes and gear units, slewing drives, plano-helical drives, worm gearboxes, and gearmotors.
High-Performance Winches
Brevini BWE Series winches deliver top-tier performance tailored to market demands through high-speed motors, optimized maneuverability, and enhanced safety features such as an integrated torque sensor. Ideal for personnel lifting applications, these winches are designed to operate in the harshest conditions, including cold weather and dusty worksites.
Dana offers 13 different sizes of BWE Series winches to support lift capacities from 990 kg (1.1 tons) to 30 tonnes (33 tons). Meeting safety certification standards for major international organizations across applicable markets, the winches offer best-in-class safety, efficiency, and control for industrial applications in marine and offshore drilling.
Field-Proven Industrial Driveshaft Performance
Leveraging more than 75 years of heavy-duty expertise, Dana’s GWB brand of premium industrial driveshafts include closed and split bearing-eye cardan shaft designs custom-engineered for an extensive range of heavy-duty applications.
GWB driveshafts cover a torque range from 2,400 Nm to 16.3 million Nm, driving essential operations in steel production, railway, marine propulsion, pulp and paper production, recycling applications, scrap steel shredding, and fracking, among many other industries. Learn more at: gwbdriveshaft.com
