The new AT20-600 series of Motorized Vertical Lift Stages from Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES) features a vertical lift of 600 mm. The AT20-600-01 (pictured) is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor features a repeatability of 5 microns, positional accuracy of 20 microns and has a knob on the motor for manual adjustment. The AT20-600-02 is driven by a Brushless DC Servomotor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder and the AT20-600-03 is driven by a DC Servomotor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder. Each of the Servomotor options, the -02 and -03 versions, offer higher travel speeds, increased positional accuracy, and repeatability. The AT20-600-04 is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder mounted on the motor for position verification.
The large 600 mm by 600 mm stage table has a pattern of threaded mounting holes, and the rigid box construction of the moving component of the elevator stage travels on six slide rails assuring smooth vertical travel and parallelism of the table and mounting surface at all times.
The high 50 kg load capacity of the AT20-600 Series Stages allows for positioning of: Multi- Axis Stages, flasks, stirrers, hotplates, and other lab equipment, testing, inspection, assembly, sampling, laser drilling and machining, in a broad range of industrial, medical, semiconductor, and research applications.
The AT20-600 Motorized Vertical Lift Stage (lowered position) is 610 mm high and weighs 45 kg. Constructed of black-anodized aluminum alloy and steel shafting, it incorporates a center mounted, precision ground lead screw having a transmission ratio of 663 microns per motor revolution removing the concern for cantilevered effects or loss of parallelism. Additionally, the stage has access from all four sides. Limit switches prevent over travel, and the large base plate has easy access to mounting holes.
The AT20-600 Vertical Lift Stage Series is also available as a complete plug-and-play system with a motion controller, drivers, keypad, trackball or joystick.
