Lafert North America, a manufacturer of metric AC Motors, metric gearboxes and coolant pumps, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Aprile, P.Eng, MBA to the role of business development manager. He brings over two decades of experience from the HVAC, automotive and chemical industries, in varying capacities from applications to operations. Known for developing innovative solutions for customers/products with unique challenges, Aprile is an expert in energy efficient motors and controls. His most recent experiences were with Armstrong Fluid Technology and Swegon North America. He joins the energetic growing sales force with a focus on delivering solutions to OEM customers.

Lafert North America is also pleased to announce the appointment of Efren Cruz to the role of inside sales representative. Cruz brings over 10 years of experience in engineering and technical sales, with a specialized focus in manufacturing, engineering consulting, construction and project management. Efren will have the ability to enhance Laferts’ customer relationships through his technical support and project collaborations. With his background in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor, along with his Civil Engineering Technical Diploma from Seneca College, Cruz is the perfect fit to succeed as one of our top technical product experts.
