A new version of the MESYS shaft and bearing calculation software (Version 07/2019) is available and provides several new features. An additional optimization step was added to the parameter variation allowing to maximize a selected parameter based on several conditions in each calculation step.

The databases for the bearing calculation were updated and three-point bearings are supported now.

The shaft calculation has a new input possibility for shaft geometry using a background drawing and an input as polygon. Results in planetary gear stages are now reported for all planets in results overviews and report. Using 3D-elastic parts now elastic bearing rings can be considered using a contact model between bearing ring and part. Then the fitting is considered in the contact model instead of changing the operating clearance.
