3DCompare Offers On-Demand Manufacturing Platform

3DCompare, a leading on-demand manufacturing platform, is announcing the result of a successful investment seed round of funding from an undisclosed source. Using the additional funding, 3DCompare will develop its broad range of services, including its compare tool algorithm for finding suitable manufacturers, allowing it to advance to a new phase of the company’s continuous growth.

3DCompare is an online platform to compare prices for manufacturing parts on demand using 3D printing, CNC machining, injection molding, laser cutting and more. Users upload their CAD file, and based on shape, material and location, the company will compare prices from 3DCompare’s global network of manufacturers, matching the right partner for its customers using its algorithms.
Since its initial launch, 3DCompare has continued to expand its operations and software, developing into a worldwide network for connecting partners and consumers, thus facilitating 3D printing for a myriad of business uses. The new funding that the company has received acts as a testament to the potential of 3DCompare, made in recognition of its on-demand manufacturing services that are transparent, comprehensive and reliable. With the investment, the company will continue to develop its services based on feedback from its partners and users, building upon the capabilities of its on-demand manufacturing platform and improving the overall experience.

These include a Content Management System (CMS), an Instant Pricing Tool (IPT), and a Marketing Platform tool. With the additional funding, 3DCompare will also look towards growing these services as well.
