The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) is now taking registrations for the PTDA 2019 Leadership Development Conference to be held on March 21-22, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Savannah, Savannah, Georgia.
PTDA members send their future management associates to the PTDA 2019 Leadership Development Conference so these individuals can step into a supervisory role ready to excel. Designed for emerging power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry leaders who want to enhance their management skills and more experienced leaders looking to elevate his/her skill set, participants will network in small group settings and learn best practices that support business results. This year’s conference will focus on creating a high performing culture in a memorable way featuring:
•A networking reception on March 21 along with industry leaders which provides an excellent opportunity for networking and shared experiences to build relationships. •An interactive day-long Leadership Development Conference on March 22 for emerging industry leaders with a customized program designed to teach how to create a culture of high performance and fulfillment through developing best practices to maximize engagement, productivity and innovation.
Chris Gumas, director of marketing, Ruland Manufacturing Co., Inc., chair for the PTDA 2019 Leadership Development Conference task force and regular conference attendee, said, “Culture is your company’s most important asset. The rising leaders in your organization hold the key to transferring, communicating and adjusting that culture through to the next generation. Our facilitator, Jason Young, comes from Southwest Airlines and has developed The Culturetopia Effect program to teach us how culture can help you kill your competition. During the full-day immersive conference Jason will show us how to measure, define and drive a company and team culture that promotes accountability, productivity, team alignment and empowerment. We will be challenged to complete problem-solving exercises, ‘de-brief’ activities and an on-site workbook that will reinforce learning, retention and application of concepts.”
