November 19, 2014
Oerlikon Graziano, a producer of high-performing transmissions and brand of Oerlikon Drive Systems Segment, was recently awarded "Supplier of the Year" by Club Car, a brand of Ingersoll Rand. The award was announced during a ceremony that took place in Augusta, Georgia during Ingersoll Rand’s annual Supplier Day.
“This is the second consecutive year that we received an award from Club Car,” said Paolo Mantelli, Oerlikon Graziano’s Head of Performance Automotive.
The relationship between Club Car and Oerlikon Graziano started in 1994 with the development of electric axles and expanded during the years.
In 2013, Oerlikon Graziano was awarded in the program “Supply Chain Partners Performance Excellence," in recognition of contributions in several Value Management Program activities during 2012. This year, Oerlikon Graziano was chosen as "Supplier Executive of the year," with Eric Powell, Director Strategic Sourcing at Club Car and Sheila Tierney, Vice President of Procurement at Ingersoll Rand, handing over the plaque directly to representatives of Oerlikon Drive Systems.
During the ceremony, Club Car’s Director of Sourcing emphasized that Oerlikon Graziano is a multi-year Club Car Supplier Award in multiple categories, and that these awards are proof positive of a long-lasting partnership.
