Once you’ve seen enough of “the big stuff” at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, stop by the “sandbox” at the Emerson Industrial Automation booth (South Hall, 83708). There you’ll see the company’s bearings, shaft-mounted reducers and machine monitoring systems churning away partially submerged in sand to highlight the patented sealing technology of Sealmaster and Browning products.
The Sealmaster USRB performance mounted spherical roller bearings, with aggregate-duty sealing technology, and the Browning helical shaft mounted reducer, with its patented barrier seal system, are demonstrated while virtually submerged in a gritty “sandbox” display. The CSI 9420 wireless machine health monitoring system will be linked to the sandbox components to demonstrate its ability to utilize PeakVue technology to detect vibration and temperature, as well as, the AMS Suite Asset Graphics to visualize the outputs. The CSI 6500 monitoring system will also be linked to a screen in the Deister Machine booth (Central Hall #51572) to highlight the system’s ability to monitor remotely.
Emerson will unveil its Lifecycle Engineering Services program at the show. The new program marries Emerson’s complete line of aggregate industry product solutions with supplemental support – including diagnostics, education, design, installation, monitoring and repair – to maximize equipment performance. Emerson product managers will present 15-minute sessions throughout the show highlighting the various aspects of the new support program. For the “big picture,” Emerson’s “Interactive Plant” display provides details on successfully implemented product solutions used in various stages of aggregate/mining operations.
