NEMA Reports High Industrial Control Demand

Demand for industrial controls increased during the third quarter of 2013, with NEMA’s Primary Industrial Controls Index rising 2.6 percent versus the previous quarter. Year-over-year growth was a stronger 4.5 percent. A broader measure of industrial controls demand, the Primary Industrial Controls and Adjustable Speed Drives Index, advanced for the fourth consecutive quarter reaching a record high in the series, registering a 4.7 percent increase compared to Q2.
