SOR Controls Group, Ltd. announced it has acquired Smart Sensors Incorporated (SSi), enabling SOR to strengthen its portfolio of temperature measurement solutions for the oil & gas, refining, chemical and power generation markets.Smart Sensors (SSi), a Houston, TX based company, founded in 1995, offers a comprehensive line of temperature sensors and assemblies. Products include: Thermocouples, RTD’s, Thermowells and Temperature Transmitters used in a wide range of Industrial and OEM applications. Specialty products include High Pressure and Temperature Thermocouples, Multipoint Assemblies, High Accuracy RTD’s for critical process applications, custom designs and replacement elements for hard-to-source and long lead times assemblies.
