The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) welcomed four new members in the third quarter of 2012. C&U Americas (Plymouth, Michigan) was founded in 2008 and is a division of one of the largest bearing manufacturers in China--C&U Group, which employs close to 10,000 people globally through 98 subsidiaries. With eight manufacturing complexes containing 48 manufacturing facilities for bearings and accessories capable of producing over 3,000 kinds of bearings, annual production capacity is more than 300 million pieces. According to president Bill Childers, with the continued growth of economic globalization, the company’s goal is to become one of the top 10 bearing suppliers worldwide and to make a greater contribution to the bearing industry.
