Rollon USA has announced that it will be entering the actuator marketplace and launching a complete new line of products at this year's IMTS show. Rollon's new Acturatorline complements the manufacturer's linear guide offerings and transforms Rollon USA into a systems supplier. Available in belt and screw driven models, the Actuatorline products have been well developed and tested in the European market.
According to Rick Wood, general manager at Rollon USA, the introduction of these actuators to the North American market will fill a void for engineers who are searching for fast delivery and robust products which are quick to design. Wood comments, "Many an engineering hour has been spent cobbling together motion systems from individual components that may not have been designed or sized to work together properly. Our own engineers and our customers cope with this 'mismatched-components from multiple sources' problem every day."
"The addition of Actuatorline enables Rollon to deliver a systems approach to ensure that all the components of a motion system can be designed and sized to work together. We expect to save our customers hours of engineering effort when designing complex systems, while reducing the common tendency to over-engineer an entire motion system because an individual component has been over-sized for a given load."
Rollon's Actuatorline products are suited to a variety of OEM machinery applications, including:
