The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) welcomes three new companies including French distributor Itafran, Hungarian manufacturer Moltech AH Kft and U.S. associate member Datalliance.
Itafran is a French wholesaler in power transmission, with a wide range of products, brands and partnerships with many producers around the world. Itafran boasts approximately five million euro stock in power transmission components, bearings and seals including major premium brands such as NSK, Gates or CMW. "The EPTDA contributes to bridging the gap between key European stakeholders of the mechanical power transmission and motion control industry. Being active in Europe, as well as in the United States and in Asia, Itafran could not do without joining an association that contributes actively to the European development of our profession," says Charles Le Goff, managing director at Itafran. "I look forward to getting to know the EPTDA members I have not had a chance to meet yet," adds Le Goff."
Moltech AH. Ltd, a Hungarian company, determines itself as the fastest high quality small series "gap-filler" v-belt producer in Europe, able to provide both standard and out-of-standard v-belts, banded belts, poly-v belts, hexagonal belts and tailor-made special belts with short lead-time and no minimal ordering quantity requirements. Moltech was established in 1992 and was distributing, at the time, power transmission belts in their region. "We met representatives of the EPTDA this spring during the Hannover fair, and made the fast decision that we would like to be part of this organisation. We joined because we can get access to information about the mainstream of the market trends, possibly find new markets, find new strategic partners and/or investors to reach our long term goals, and in the end, but not last hopefully, we can find some friends as well," declares Mr. Csaba Molnar, director and owner of Moltech AH Ltd.
Datalliance is a provider of collaborative commerce services, and an independent VMI service provider. Delivered via the Internet using the 'Software as a Service' (SaaS) model, Datalliance solutions make it easy for suppliers and their customers to establish sales and inventory management relationships that fully align business objectives, improve collaboration and streamline supply chain operations. "Datalliance is very excited about becoming a member of EPTDA," stated Carl Hall, CEO Datalliance. "To date our focus has been in the United States with leading companies such as Goodyear, Gates, Timken, Rexnord, SKF, NSK and others, but we are in the process of expanding operations in Europe. Having access to the network of the EPTDA distributors and manufacturers, as well as the market research data and trends provided by the EPTDA, will greatly support our efforts in Europe."
"The EPTDA is furthering its growth with these three companies, bringing the total of new members since January 2011 to eleven. With the arrival of Itafran we continue to reinforce our presence in France and adding Datalliance to our membership portfolio will enable many of our member companies to strengthen their sales and inventory management relationships. The number of Eastern Europe based member companies is growing slowly but surely and the representatives of Moltech as well as other new member companies will be participating in the upcoming EPTDA Annual Convention in Budapest, 28-30 September 2011," commented Hans Hanegreefs, executive vice president, EPTDA.
