The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) recently announced two additions to its membership portfolio-Egyptian distributor Doctor Establishment Import & Export (DEG) and U.S. manufacturer Climax Metal Products Company. As a result of its continued efforts to raising awareness, developing tangible member benefits and furthering its outreach, the EPTDA has welcomed two important players of the power transmission and motion control industry, increasing its membership figures once more this year, to a total of 188 companies.
"The EPTDA provides a solid platform for manufacturers and distributors to communicate and share ideas and experiences. It provides excellent networking opportunities and offers access to credible market intelligence in a specialized industry. It is a great pleasure to be part of this dynamic organization," said Samer Khalil, vice president at DEG.
Christopher M. Curran, president at Climax adds, "As a long-time member of PTDA in the U.S., we have known the value of organizations such as EPTDA. For years, we have benefitted from interacting and communicating at annual PTDA conventions with many of our most important customers. From attending the EPTDA convention for the first time in Malta, it is clear to me that the same value exists within EPTDA. The networking opportunities, along with the program of professional speakers and industry experts, provided me with the awareness that our company needed to belong to EPTDA moving forward. My only regret is that I wish I had followed Hans' advice and joined sooner!"
