Chuck Raskin joins the engineering team at Dynetic Systems Inc., a manufacturer of brush and brushless DC motors located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Raskin will be designing and developing electronic drives and controls to extend Dynetic Systems' current product base of small brush and brushless DC motors.
Raskin has been a registered professional engineer in multiple states for 35 years. He has worked and consulted in various engineering capacities.
With a master's degree in computer science, Raskin has worked with automation systems including mechanical, electrical and electronic designs. He has designed products and developed applications for the food, glass, steel, fiberglass, canning, wood, paper, lighting, liquid process, material handling and other industries. He has designed motion control systems for lasers, waterjets, plasma cutters, welders and machine tools for CNCs and robots. Raskin has authored several patents for material handling, motion, robotics and automation.
For several years, Raskin has been commissioned to train companies and users to apply motion control and automation methods for a range of applications, He has written articles for U.S. technical magazines. He has served as a member of the advisory board for technical magazines and was an educational advisor and presenter for the American Institute of Motion Engineers (AIME). He is the author of the Designing with Motion Handbook.
