The DSF 60 incremental encoder delivers from one to 65,536 ppr in an industry-standard 60 mm housing. Built on the company’s “F” technology, the encoders feature a nickel code disc that provides tolerance to higher temperatures. It can be utilized in heavy-duty industrial applications such as printing, textile, woodworking and packaging machines. The encoders are IP65- rated and available with a TTL or RS 422 interface.
“These incremental encoders provide electric isolation between the motor shaft and encoder to substantially increase interference immunity and overall reliability when compared with other optical encoders,” says Scott Hewitt, president of Sick Stegmann, Inc.
