Allegro Introduces Two New Motor Drivers, New Regulators

Allegro Microsystems recently released three new products to the marketplace.
The A3995 is designed for applications that have two DC motors. By up-integrating two motor drivers in one package the A3995 can be more cost-effective than most discrete IC motor drivers with similar ratings. The 6 x 5 x 0.9 mm QFN package is designed for applications where PC board space is at a premium.
The A3989 is designed for applications that have one DC motor and one stepper motor. By up-integrating two motor drivers in one package the A3989 can be more cost effective than many combinations of discrete IC motor drivers.
Other new products include the A8286 and A8292 LNB regulators provide a high level of integrated functionality and diagnostic capability for todays satellite set-top boxes. The two devices offer different output current capabilities covering the latest high-current HDTV and DVR systems as well as legacy systems. Each part is highly efficient, and provides compatibility for DiSEqC・1.x and 2.x systems.
