Metal Improvement Co. Earns NADCAP Approval

The three Metal Improvement facilities have completed their NADCAP re-accreditation audits.
According to the company's press release, the accreditations were in the areas of heat treatment of ferrous-based materials and aluminum alloys, vacuum heat treating and induction hardening.
All three maintained their accreditation for metallography and hardness materials testing as part of their full service metallurgical testing departments.
NADCAP is a quality assessment program for the aerospace industry that accredits special process suppliers with the ability to integrate stringent quality system standards into operational activities.
